We loved this doe as a kid, and she has bloomed into an absolutely spectacular milker! Cate is strong in general appearance,  with a beautiful top line and wide, flat rump. She has a beautiful udder, high and wide in the rear, with a long extended fore, and just a tremendous area of udder attachment.

Cate was 7th place Yearling Milker at the 2003 National Show, 1st place Dam and Daughter along with Cierra at the same show, 1st place 3 Year Old, 2nd Udder, at the 2005 National Show,11th place 4 year old at the 2006 National Show, and 1st place, 1st udder 5-6 year old and Reserve National Champion at the 2007 National Show, and part of our 1st Place Dairy Herd and Best 3 Senior Females. She was also the winner of the production awards for both milk and butterfat for a 305 day lactation at the 2006 National Show.

Cate was All American Junior Kid in 2002, All American Milking Yearling in 2003, Reserve All American 3 year old in 2005, 1st Five Years and Over and Supreme All American doe in 2008 and with her dam, Cierra, was also named All American Dam and Daughter. She is a 5th generation GCH!!

In 2008 Cate was All American Aged Doe and AA Supreme Champion Doe!!

Cate has been retired from the show string, but at the age of 9 she is still going strong. We were so thrilled when she finally gave us a doe kid this spring...it was a true celebration at our house so that is what we named her!! Celebration is a real beauty, appraising EC and getting her dry leg with a BJDIS win. We have repeated the breeding in hopes of getting another daughter from her this spring.

Her current lactation, in progress, is
