When I was talking to Mariah about our new buck kid, I told her that color was not an issue for me but that we used to raise paint horses so when we did get a kid with color we like it A LOT! Well the next thing you know, she was offering me this beautiful black and white paint doe kid, and, of course, I had to say yes!

Amethea is a deep bodied kid, long and level over the topline, with strong feet and legs and a high, wide escutcheon. And boy does she have color! We just love her and thank Ardis and Mariah so much for entrusting her to us.  Our friend Abbi Larson showed Amethea at the national show in Sacramento, where she placed 8th in a competitive Junior Kid class.

Amathea came to us later in the summer and missed all of our shows but the last one. I'm sure glad I took her because she was 1X 1st, 1X 2nd, 1X Jr. Champion and 1X BJDIS.

She was a late April kid, and will also be left dry this year.
